theatre, broadcast and corporate event industries with the rental & sale of radio microphones, in-ear systems
and custom-moulded earpieces. We also serve the audiophile and consumer markets with high-end earphones and headphones.  |

Hand Held was formed in 1990 by two
touring sound engineers - Mick Shepherd and Nick Bruce-Smith.
That's them in the picture to the left, no longer touring,
but still a dynamic duo with a "hands on" approach
to equipment, sound, business, life, the universe and everything. |

Because we focus so tightly on sound and wireless we can rightly claim
to be experts. We are committed to giving every customer the
benefit of that expertise . . . . be it the sale of a set of earphones for iPod use, the provision of custom ear monitors for live stage use, or the entire radio mic / in-ear system
requirement for the world tour of a major rock band. |
