E2s / SCL2s have wider sound nozzles than the other Shure Universal Earphones. Wax guards have been developed to prevent the ingress of unwanted wax that can sometimes occur.
Wax guards do come in the fit-kit included with the E2s / SCL2s but are not pre-installed. They are also available in packs of 10 as a separate accessory.
- Easily installed if wax build-up
becomes a problem with E2 / SCL2 earphones.
- The Wax Gurads are not
available for use with any other of the Shure earphones
